The Lymmtonians

Also around this time, the late 1940s, The "Lymmtonians" were re-formed, and a junior version, "The Lymmtoniettes" created by a Mrs. Annie Higham, nee Bell, who was Eileen's auntie and whose father (Eileen's granddad), Tom Bell, had danced in the Lymm Morris Dancers in the early 1900's.

Eileen had originally started dancing in of Bill Higgins Broomedge Troupe.

Unknown to Pamela and Eileen, The Lymmtonians had existed in the 1930's, trained by Mrs. Bradburn and Mrs. Griffiths.

Pamela danced with the Lymmtoniettes from 1948 to about 1950, and Eileen from 1948 to 1954 at one time being the leader.

The Lymmtonians and Lymmtoniettes practised in the Guide hut, now the W.I. hut, on Sandy Lane.
