Lets kick off with the team photo

In true Lymm Morris Dance fashion, some members are distracted by other things

Before the event proper, we met up at The Brewery Tap, and danced there, too

The figure called The Star

The end of the dance - well about one second after the end - the hankies have drooped

Then on to the Lower Dam

The Music Men: Alex, Del, Pierre and Peter

Last pair set off in the figure Cast Up

Set to dance a second tim for the benefit of the local magazine photographer

Short break then off to the Village Hall to prepare for the procession

Walkers (and dancers) gather at Pepper Street Car Park before setting off...

...led by the Lymm Town Crier...

Followed by walkers and us, with more behind

The route is shortened courtesy of the Council, so turn right into Rectory Lane instead of processing through the village

Thelwall Morris join the procession with home made Garland made from rushes

Lymm May Queen followed by Lymm Morris, the WI groups and Bollin Morris at the back (honest)

Then it is back down to the Church to process back to the Village Hall, again, only down Rectory Lane

We line up again as though we'd never been away

Brisk walk - hand movements only. The sequence known as "Hands"

Chris Limb, counted them all out and counts them all back

Back at the car park, cars want to come out and we want to get in

The band are on their own full of indecision

It's all over for another year
